I’m a web designer and developer with a diverse background in branding and marketing. My in-depth knowledge of user experience and accessibility standards allow me to build clean, responsive, mobile-first websites with the user in mind.
My past experience includes working with in-house digital marketing, traditional marketing/branding agencies, and now a government IT entity. Currently, I'm a Junior Programmer Analyst(Intern) at Alachua County IT where I work in a collaborative team to complete design and programming-based projects. My primary focus has revolved around redesigning county-wide kiosks.
I have been involved in each step including, but not limited to: research & development, user experience flows, low fidelity and high fidelity prototyping, presenting my designs to stakeholders, as well as receiving feedback and applying it to revisions. In terms of the kiosk application development, I’ve learned how to build progressive web applications in order to increase the reliability and improve offline capabilities of the kiosks. In addition, I have spent time revising older kiosk code based on ES6, semantic syntax, accessibility and SEO standards. Upon completion, I’ll begin to test all of the kiosk’s PWA components and prep it for build, deployment, and beta testing.
